Problems that has been found in Maniasoft Securifile. No problems are existing anymore.

Registration problems (2001/09/28, 10:45AM ET)

If you bought the serial number, you may have a message box 'Invalid serial number' when you try to register. This problem happens to 1/15 of users who bought the software. Download the file 'Patch.zip' and launch 'setup' program, found in the Patch.zip file.

Follow those steps:

1) Download the 'patch.zip' file. (Save it or run it);

2) If you run it then go to step (3) otherwise, open the 'patch.zip' file in Winzip;

3) In the Winzip window, you'll see two files (setup and lockengine). The setup program will replace the lockengine file in your system. This will not damage your locked files;

4) Extract those two files in a directory;

5) Launch setup program;

6) Run Securifile utility and enter the name and serial that Maniasoft sold you and hit register button.

The problem is now solved.
