Account creation :
|
You have to create an account the first time you run the software,
if you don't, you will be redirected to the account creation window every time you launch
the program since you need one in order to work with Cerebellum Backup 2005.

Account management :
|
You can change your username and password later if you want to by selecting
the account management button from the options window.
|
|
Defining the location of your backup files :
|
After the creation of your account and your authentication at the login window,
you will be directed to the options window where you will have to set the path to where your files will be stored.
It's also possible to change the language of the application and choosing if you want to start Cerebellum Backup 2005
automatically instead of entering your username and password each time.

How to do a backup :
|
Fisrt, start by choosing a drive in which to look for files, you can change
this at anytime to look for more files. Next, browse the files list for the files you want to backup,
select them and click on the right arrow button in the middle. This operation add the selected files
to you backup list, all you have to do next, is to set the frequency of the backup for each directories, you can
either choose to apply the frequency to the selected file or to all the files in your backup list.
Once you are done setting the frequency for your files, all you have to do is to click on the close and
activate button to start saving your files, it also minimize the application and add a trayicon so
it won't bother you in your work. Note that you must set a frequency for a file if you want it to
be part of your backup, if you don't, the file will only stay in your selected file for backup until
you restart the application.

How to remove a file from the backup :
|
All you have to do to remove a file from your backup is to select it
from the selected file for backup and click on the left arrow button. When you remove a file from your backup
you have the option to remove it from the directory where your backup are stored or to leave it there. If you
don't delete the file, you will only be able to restore it manually, since the files available for restoration
are the one which are part of your backup.

How to restore files :
|
To restore your files, you only only need to follow the simple step of our
restoration wizard avalaible from the restoration menu. You have the option to restore
all your files at once or to specify the files you want to restore.

How to launch the program automatically :
|
To save you username and password and launch the program automatically
when Windows start, all you have to do is to check the option available at the login or in the options
windows. Uncheck the option and the program won't start automatically next time.
